We provide artwork and art consulting services to the architect and design community, including hospitality, multi-family, healthcare and residential via our in-house painting and digital studios, and our ever-growing image library. Our award-winning headquarters, studios, and showroom are located in the Sodo area of Seattle.
What We Need
The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing all HR functions at Grand Image. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, legal compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The role also involves collaborating with leadership to align workforce strategy with the company’s goals.
What You’ll Do
Human Resources:
· Oversee recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and job offers.
· Define and implement a robust onboarding program for all new hires.
· Manage employee relations, addressing conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and corporate values.
· Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
· Coordinate training and employee development initiatives and lead bi-monthly manager meetings.
· Monitor and manage employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Collaborate with leadership to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
· Forecast hiring needs and align workforce strategy with business goals.
· Serve as the point of contact for the corporate legal team regarding contracts, agreements, and employment issues.
What You Have
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of seven years of HR experience, preferably in a leadership role.
· Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
· Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
